The Kenyan Way

Orientation, sign up and packet pick up on Tuesday August 10th and Wednesday 11th at 7:30pm at Luke's Locker (West Gray)

  • Monday and Wednesday evenings workouts
  • Starts August 16, 2010 - January 30, 2011
  • Monday Hill training: 6:00-7:00pm. You should be warmed up and ready for the group start at 6:15pm. Earlier start available if needed. We meet at Jackson Hill Baseball Field. See map of Monday meeting place.
  • Wednesday Speed Workouts: 5:15-7:00pm. No group start time. Workouts can take place anytime between 5:15-7:00pm. We meet at east entrance of Memorial Park running trail, near the Gazebo. See map of Wednesday meeting place.
  • Bring a towel for our 10 minutes of core training which takes place after every workout
  • Customized training schedules provided for 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon.
  • Suitable for runners of all abilities. You should be able to comfortably jog 3 miles before joining this program
  • Cost:
    • $200 (six months of Monday and Wednesday workouts)
    • Join anytime at pro-rated pricing
    • Full program participants receive $50 discount when also joining the Marathon Program. Cost for joining speed program and Saturday supported long runs is $280 (includes discount).
